Thoughts

What a crazy beginning of the semester this has been!
I have been so busy trying to keep up with classes and it's only been the first few months!
For outside of class work, there is a lot -

  • For substance abuse I have to go to 5 events
  • For Women's Health I have to go to 5 events
  • For conducting I have to go to 2 events
  • I have a massive research paper for advanced writing
  • I have a massive TWS for my methods class
  • and none of this includes the regular day-to-day small assignments!
I think I'm going to go crazy. But, I've been trying to slowly chip away at all the stuff I have to do.

On another note, Chris has decided he's not sure if he even wants to go into the health profession. It was a little hard to swallow at first, knowing that we are started the career search from the beginning, but hopefully something comes out of it that he really loves! He just has a hard time because he likes a lot of things, and is good at a lot of things so it's hard to narrow. I hope he can find something that fulfills him and makes him blissful.

I've been getting ready for the advocacy summit. I'm so excited to get out of Provo for a couple days and experience the wonders of Washington D.C.!

Churchwise I've been finding my groove with the Beehives. I get to teach them a mutual lesson on stress management and I'm super excited! I hope they love it! We've also been gearing up for Girl's Camp. We have a huge workshop and meeting tomorrow for 4 hours! I'm kinda excited =D

Yoga has been amazing. What a way to destress and connect with my body! I've loved taking time for me a couple times a week and making sure I'm ready for a new day.

Back in Provo

So, we're back in Provo again.
It was so nice to take a break and spend it with my family in Oregon. It was so green, and it snowed there!!! Crazy!
So now we're just getting ready to move on Saturday. I have a list a mile long of things to do but we're so excited to be in a new apartment. Maybe we'll finally be able to sleep through the night!!
Our dryer broke a few weeks ago and we've been having to use neighbor's dryers. It's kinda embarassing and I always feel like I'm intruding when I go over to dry clothes. BUT, some nice person on freecycle offered us a new washer and dryer!! Yay!! Chris and I just love the website =D
Here's the link to freecycle. Basically it's a group where you go on and post offer and wanted ads to people in your area. So, I went on and posted that I wanted a dryer and someone replied that they had one for us! The cool thing is that everything is free on their, and as they say, some people's junk are other people's treasures =D
